Years ago in Michigan I kept going back to this little abandoned house, always finding new pictures to capture. One day the fire department used it as practice and burned it down, Here in Port Orange.Florida there was this small, rundown marina fixed to be renovated by August, 2006/  Five years later, it was still there, abandoned, slowly falling apart.

Over year, I made it my routine to drive past it early in the morning, often stopping to take some picture in different lights, different angles, different visions.  Yesterday, a big, yellow, piece of equipment was parked across the street,  This morning one building was all but gone and I expect tomorrow the destruction will be complete.

Down the road I will put together a slide show, set it to music and enjoy the work I accomplish to capture a vision pf something that will never exist again.  To some, it may have been an eyesore and dangerous. To me, there is beauty often to be captured in the most prosaic things and object.
